Paris is the capital of France. Two million people live within the city
limits and over 10 million live in the metropolitan area. This makes Paris
similar in size to New York City and London.
The city has existed for more than 2000 years and was founded on the
île de La Cité, which is one of two small islands on the Seine
River. The Seine runs right through the middle of Paris and empties into
the English Channel (which is part of the Atlantic Ocean). Small ships
and barges transport a lot of goods to and from Paris on this important
waterway.
Paris is a major center of industrial activity. Everything from the
manufacture of automobiles to fine perfumes and other luxury items are
produced in Paris.
There are many famous structures and buildings in Paris. The Eiffel
Tower, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Arc de Triomphe are all world-famous
symbols of this city.

Paris est la capitol de la France avec plus de deux millions d'habitants. Parmi eux, Fanny et Elliot. La ville est à peu près de la meme taille que New York City, ou Londres. Paris
éxiste depuis deux mille ans.
La ville a êté fondeé sur l'ile de la Cité; une des deux iles se trouvent au ceur de la ville sur la Seine;
fleuve qui traverse Paris avant d'aller se jeter trois cent soixante quinze kilomètres plus loin dans La
Manche. Paris est un centre pour le commerce tres important avec la fabrication des voitures jusqu'on
le fabrication du parfum et autres articles de luxe. La ville a beaucoup de monuments et batiments
célèbres. Le Tour Eiffel, le cathédral de Notre Dame de Paris, l'Arc de Triomphe sont les symbols de
cette ville connus dans le monde entier.
Et maintenent vous en savez un peu plus sur la ville de Paris ou l'equipe de KidsCom (venu des USA)
