Sommiers is in the south of France. It's only about 7 miles from the Mediterranean Sea between Nimes and Montpellier. Lots of artists live in the area. In fact, the house where the KidsCom Crew visited Nicolas, once belonged to the painter Pierre Lartigue. The murals (shown on the previous page) were painted on the walls at Nicolas' home by Pierre.

We had lots of fun visiting Nicolas in Sommiers. Maybe we'll see YOU   the next time KidsCom goes "On Location"!

Nicolas a treize ans. Il habite dans le sud de la France, dans une ville qui s'appele "Sommiers". La Méditerranée est a quinze kilomètre de sa maison. Nimes et Montpellier sont des villes les plus proche de chez lui. Il y a beaucoup d'artiste qui habitent dans le région. La maison, ou habite Nicolas maintenent a été la demeure du peintre Pierre Lartigue. C'est pour cela qu'il y a de belles frèsques aux murs.

Nous avons passé des bons moments chez Nicolas et peut ètre allons nous vous voir au prochain KidsCom "On Location". Salut!!!
