Animal Adventure Comment of the Week

Angelina Nisei - Age 10 - From UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA)

If we can find another place where we can put the foreign species, the natural enemies won't really be affected. But if we use poison, we might end up killing the natural plants and animals too. People might destroy some vital plants and wildlife if they go into the habitat.

Team Animal Fact of the Week

Kerilyn Missy - Age 15 - From UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA)

The elephant is the largest animal that lives on land. They can way as much as a school bus, and have larg tusks. They use their large trunk as a tool to help them get food, water, and carry heavy objects. They love water and are very good swimmers. Elephants stomp when they walk, and sleep standing up! They eat grass and bark, and need lots of room to roam and eat. They can run up to 24mph for short distances, and use their ears and water to cool off.

The story continues from this beginning:

Idea Seekers and Allies are gathering in Kimma's Room to celebrate all sorts of stuff--KidsCom.com's anniversary, Valentine's Day, and...Kimma's Birthday! As Spec and Tra arrive, they hear Kimma talking about herself an awful lot, and they suspect that a certain purple mist is floating in the air in the room! Is Proud Cloud working to cloud Kimma and give her a big head on her special day? How can Spec and Tra hold off the purple puffball? Write the rest of the story.

Spec and Tra were thinking the exact same thing, they had to get rid of the cloud. But how? They knew the exact thing, for Kimma to stop talking about herself, then everything would be perfect. Then, Spec said "Um.. hi Kimma. Happy Birthday" but he was interrupted by Kimma "I know its my birthday, and i am having so much fun already, my birthday is great and so am I" she said excitedly. Proud Cloud was coming closer and closer to Kimma.
People were starting to see it and ran out. Soon, the party was empty except for Spec, Tra, and Kimma. Soon, Tra screamed "watch out."
Then, he started talking real fast "the cloud was out to get you and I did not know what to do. So I screamed, I could not help it." "What do you mean cloud?" "Proud Cloud" "You mean a cloud is in the room!" "We have to do something!"
Soon, they all got glass jars that were in the other room. They all swung at the air like they were swatting a fly. Soon, They each had purple in they're jars. They did it. They caught the purple cloud.
Then, Kimma went outside. Kimma went to each of her friends house and said we have a valentines day party to celebrate! She will always remember that special birthday of hers.

KidsCom.com Write Me A Story

Amy - 11 - United Kingdom

My name is Cakus Robotus. I'm a birthday cake designed as a practical joke, when people blow out the candles I jump out at them. It was the year 3000, so everybody knew about robots. I had been taken to a Pizza party. Eww, I hated pizza. Especially when it's a Cranky Pizza. They're annoying and are always up to no good. A girl named Peggy had taken me to the pizza party. The smell of pizza whipped my nose.

"Peggy, take me somewhere else. I don't like pizza," I told her, but she just shoved me down on the table.

The pizza jumped over to me, facing the opposite way. Suddenly he turned to show me he was a funny pizza, dressed as a clown. His metal hand reached up and he honked his red nose. Then he clicked his fingers and a bunch of flowers appeared. I thanked him, and he pressed his flower as a whole pile of tomato sauce squirted on my icing. I laughed.

"I like pizza now," I said, and Peggy did too.
