Animal Adventure Comment of the Week
Courtney Mazes - Age 19 - From CANADA
there is no right answer or wrong because if some one buys that land to build a lot there are laws that if there are animals on that property they would be force to go to a diffront corperation and build on that land i think it should be totally illegal to build or put one piece of a tool or shovel, bull dozer you name it they should be sewed or fined for touching that land and knowing there were animals on it go green and make people conserve the land they purchased

The story continues from this beginning:
Dumonde and Riley go to a science supply store to buy some parts Dumonde needs to build a motorized rain barrel that waters the lawn automatically when it's full. However, when they get to the store Dumonde realizes that all the motorized parts he needs use way too much energy! He really wants to build his invention and doesn't care how much energy it will use. Riley spies a pink mist around Dumonde's head--Desire Cloud is affecting his thinking! Can Riley find a Gratitude Plant Baby that might help? Write the rest of the story.
Riley spies a pink mist around Dumonde's head. Desire Cloud is affecting his thinking! But not by good. He starts to change his biggest invention to a shrink ray! Riley gets afraid and starts to run, but, like a dog, he thinks that when he starts to run, he means he is trying to play a game. Because Dumonde turned into a maniac, it's normal for him to think like that. He tries to shoot him and his third shoot is bingo.
Before anybody squashes him, he startes to look for a Gratitude Plant Baby. He goes to the shop to find one, but there is no left. Then he hears a musical laugh. He gats it right away, Humor Plant Baby! He asks him to find Gratitude, but Humor tells him to ask to Hope. Hope takes Riley's hand and runs to a beautiful garden. Hope was right. Gratitude was there. Riley told him that Dumonde was out of his mind. Gratitude caught Riley by the hand and he put him on his back. He started to look for Dumonde. It didn't last long. All they had to do is to looo at the giant machine which everybody was running away from. Gratitude told Dumonde to stop, but he didn't. To make him stop, he did something he never did -- Gratitude started to punch Dumonde. And it did really hurt. He fell from the shrink ray's seat. Gratitude pressed on the "Self Destruct" button and, BOOM!
But Dumonde wasn't still like his normal self. He started to kick everybody. Everbody ran away from him, except Humor. He was laughing at Dumonde. He got really angry and kicked Humor hard. But he still didn't stop laughing. Whenever Dumonde kicked, he remembered really funny jokes. So he couldn't stop laughing. At last, Dumonde got tired from kicking. At the moment he lay down, Humor ran to Dumonde and whispered a joke. Now, Dumonde couldn't stop laughing either. When it got late, he slept at the middle of the school corridor. While he was sleeping, Hope sang a song to his ear about wishes. When Dumonde woke up, he founded himself at school punishment. Wasn't life fair?

Casey decided that enough was enough in her school. Litter was lining the hall, and the corridors, and the classrooms, the walls and the playground, and she was sick of it. After being at the school for three years she was finally old enough to be in the team of Litter Collectors. Sadly, it was a hard and not very rewarding job.
Often the school grounds got soiled and it was the Litter team's job to collect it... with their bare hands because the school was not rich enough to buy litterbags. Casey gathered together a team of students, with talents varying from singing to writing, and they all started a campaign to get litterbags. Casey used to go to a wealthy school, so she knew that schools should have litterbags. After hours of hard work, the team of students and the group of Litter Collectors had finally plastered the gray school with posters and signing sheets.
Three days passed, and three hundred and fifty seven students out of four hundred had signed to say they wanted bags. They took the sheets to Principal Skeeter and he, after much persuasion from the team of forty, agreed to buy Litterbags. But the kids didn't want him to buy them. They wanted to. It would come out of the Litter Collector's fund. They also desperately wanted a new name, offering a prize to the best one: Pride.
After days of hard work, the school finally reached the target of getting the Litter Collectors a new name, Litterbuggies, chosen by the baseball team and some cool litterbags hanging on the walls. The litterbags were an easy target and when Casey went to the shops the week after the campaign, she realized that the bags were only a dollar. At least she made her persuasion skills better, leading to an A+ on a persuasion test. Between you and me, I think Casey just wanted the A+.
