Animal Adventure Comment of the Week

Dazz Samu - Age 12 - From UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA) - 10/05/2008

We should research to find out about the wetlands of how they are drying up so we can help the animals so they can live and not have to go to a different climate. It's not right that the animals have to give up there homes, because the humans are taking over there homes.

Team Animal Fact of the Week

Hazel Eloise - Age 13 - From UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA) - 08/26/2008

Here's something I found out about the Swift Fox: One of the threats is habitat loss because they live in grasslands which are also used for growing crops. I think they are ok in the US but in danger in Canada - you can read more on this page:

Sadie - 9 - USA

"Catch me if you can!" I shouted to my friend Bella. She was an alien. I'm visiting her, because my dad is an astronaut and he secretly takes me here when he goes on missions. I've been here many times. She had beautiful blond hair and blue skin with purple antennas. I met Bella when I was six and now I am eight. Bella started to chase me but then she tripped.

"Are you ok?" I asked.

"Yeah, but I think I got scraped," she said.

"Ruff! Ruff" "What's that?" I asked.

"Oh that's just Joey," she said.

"Who's Joey?" I asked.

"Joeys my puppy, he's going to perform at the autumn fair," Bella said.

"What's the autumn fair?" I asked.

"Its only the greatest fair ever!" Bella said.

"When is it?" I asked.

"Well, I was kinda going to surprise you," she said with a sigh.

"Well, let's go then!" I shouted.

Joey started to bark again. "But we have to get Joey first," said Bella.

Joey was a small green puppy with green antennas and floppy ears. When we got there, everything was completely crowded. Bella led me to the dog tricks place and signed Joey in. Then she led me to her station and told me to stay there with Joey while she went to get tickets. When she got back she put Joey in the training station, then we went on all the rides, the Spinning coaster, Jolly swings, Candy cane lane, Bounce house, Maze and the Jungle gym. After that, we got cotton candy and did the dog show with Joey.

"Well I had a great time," I said with a yawn.

Then I waved goodbye and meet my dad back where we landed and took off. I told my dad all about the fun I had and that I couldn't wait for the next time.
