Team Animal Fact of the Week

Gloo Cookie - Age 11 - Team Purple Mouse - From UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA)

The field mice are very important to our environment, because they eat small bugs from the fields so we can have more corn, beans, and other crops to eat and survive. We are using pesticides, which harm bugs and other small animals, like this one, and they also harm the air and water! This rodent is in danger, and we need to stop using harmful pesticides, and find a new solution so that this cute little animal does not become extinct!

The story continues from this beginning:

As the Courtyard Stage repairs are finished, King Daveau thinks it would be a good idea to have Kimma mow the lawn in the Courtyard to show the people of Sarillion that the Royal Family is working hard to repair Angry Cloud's damage. Kimma decides to use a loud, smokey gas-powered lawn mower! When King Daveau asks her to use a push mower to save gas, Kimma says ''fine, whatever,'' but then goes back to the gas-powered mower! Sloth Cloud is making Kimma too lazy to use a push mower! Would Persistence Plant Baby keep her green? Write the rest of the story.

"I'm so scared I wish the could have found a husky to do the dog sled race. I can lead it, but I'm a stupid little tiny Chihuahua," explained Jim, to Podge the husky. "It's fine Jimmy, you'll do great all though you are tiny and little and can't fight for yourself and..."

"Alright that's enough," interrupted Jimmy.

"Sorry," apologized Podge.

There were eight huskies altogether and poor Jim really was scared. What if the others run faster than him? The rider would get hurt as well as all the dogs.

"The dog sled race was about to start," thought Jimmy.

He really was scared: he was shaking, but he really did want the Golden Bone Award.

Three, two, one, go! The race started.

"Oh, I must say I am quite fast, just keep going, keep going," Jimmy kept saying this over and over in his head.

It was making him feel proud about himself. All the huskies were to running out of breath and he was losing breath so fast and he felt really dizzy. Still saying, "Keep going" over and over again. He suddenly fell to the ground and all the huskies fell on top of him. Jimmy shouted out, "Golden bone award!"

He was like a flash. They did win the golden bone award and they disserved it, but they gave it all to the little Chihuahua Jimmy for being a real team leader.
