Claudia - Age 10 - UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA)

"Grandpa?"

"Yes?""

"Why does the lake look so funny?"

"Because its a special lake."

"Why are we the only ones here?"

"Because its special."

"And what makes it so special grandpa?"

"You'll see."

Grandpa Greg handed Jimmy his fishing pole that looked very odd, it had a small tank instead of a hook on the line. "I wonder why we're fishing in such a strange place with strange things," Jimmy thought.

Out on the mysterious lake, Greg and Jimmy waited patiently for a bite. Suddenly, Jimmy's line began to pull out and a blue and white polka dotted small octopus in a tank landed right in grandpa Greg's lap!

"Very nice catch!" Grandpa Greg exclaimed. "I told you this lake was special."

Both laughed while the octopus magically turned into a normal trout.

"Cool I've never seen any thing like it!" Jimmy said astonished.

"You haven't seen any thing yet," grandpa said. "Lets row over there."

They rowed over to a spot where tall grass grew, and Jimmy couldn't believe his eyes. There hidden in the tall grass grew cupcakes and cookies with milk and so many sweets that even the strongest sweet tooth in the world couldn't take it all on. Jimmy and grandpa Greg feasted happily on the sweets until they were bloated. That day the two caught a pink and purple jellyfish, a blue and white striped fish, an orange and white tiger shark, a big lion like lion fish, a zebra fish with hooves, and a rainbow trout with all the colors of the rainbow with a pot of gold, and they filled themselves with so many sweets that they couldn't eat dinner. Jimmy came home with a load of stories, which nobody seemed to believe.

"He has quite the imagination," His father whispered to Grandpa Greg.

Grandpa Greg winked at Jimmy smiling knowing that the lake will always seem imaginary to every one else.
