Animal Adventure Comment of the Week

Veronica Beige - Age 8 - From UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA)

we have taken too much fossil fuel and now we pay the price
we need to stop using too much energy because if we don't we will run out of nature.we need to save animals because they are a part of nature and we have many uses for them now if we don't conserve we will take up the space many useful animals live in.nobody can remake habitats but we can stop ruining them.

Idea Seeker Write Me A Story

Globe Zara - 11 - AUSTRALIA

The story continues from this beginning:

Tra is working on a special Pizza Garden for Spec's Theme Garden contest! She's planted tomatoes, basil, wheat, onions, and peppers! But when she leaves for the night, Riley sneaks into her Garden and starts to make a mess, digging up plants and throwing stuff into Tra's Frog Prince Fountain! When Tra gets back to the Garden she finds a note that says "My Garden's gonna win! Riley." Riley has Jealousy Cloud sickness! Can Tra clear Riley's head with a Plant baby's help? Which one? Write the rest of the story.

A moment later a Plant Baby, Hope, comes bounding lightly into the Garden being careful not to tread to hard and says" Don't give up, To Tra, we can still win the contest, I can gather all my other Idea Seekers, Allies and Plant Baby friends to come buy some more Wheat, Basil, Tomatoes, Onions and Peppers for your Garden or the Herbs, Fruits and Vegetables that are able to be replanted we can replant all together as quick as possible and if they take to long to grow I can use my special plant growth formula to help and they will be fully grown for 3 hours to a day! We can work everything out do not worry for a second!" Then Hope tells Tra, "She will go gather her friends!", and Tra says, "Thank You so much for helping me and if there are any leftovers I will separate them evenly to all your friends and you! And again thank you so much for helping me, I will go get my best tools for gardening!" They both skip off lightly to their separate ways cheerfully and happily!

About 3 hours later...Tra, Hope and all the friends have finished gardening and the place looked wonderful! There were heaps and heaps of left-overs so all of the people and plant babies go into the kitchen and cook meals together with the left-overs.

THE END

Maggie - 12 - UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA)

One day, the Cookie Monster had just baked two dozen chocolate chip cookies just before he went to a picnic. It was a beautiful day for a picnic, so he decided to walk there and take a dozen cookies for him to eat on his way. On his way there, he stepped on a red fire anthill, but didn't notice because he was to busy eating. This made the ants mad, especially since he was eating their favorite food and he didn't say sorry. That's when they decided that they would follow him and trip him with about hundred ants lined up in hopes that he would drop a cookie. So they followed him, tripped him, and down he went.

After he had fallen he asked the ants, "Why did you trip me?"

The ants replied, "Because you stepped on our ant hill and didn't say sorry."

The cookie monster thought about it and thought about when he was interrupted by, "Ya know, a cookie could make things better," The ants all said together.

The cookie monster replied, "OK, but only one."

Later that night the cookie monster was sad that he was one whole cookie and a crumb short, the crumb being from when he was tripped. On the other hand the ants were hyper that night and their tummies full.
