Animal Adventure Comment of the Week

Clare Seek - Age 11 - From UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA)

I think if we conserve the water that's in the wetlands then we can keep the animals from moving away. If we don't conserve water then the animals won't live there anymore and will try to adapt to a different habitat. Sometimes animals adapt to a different habitat and sometimes they won't. They will perish or die and we wouldn't get to see beautiful animals.

Team Animal Fact of the Week

Idea Seeker Write Me A Story

The story continues from this beginning:

Skeeter and Riley are helping their friends' Gardens in order to earn points for the Training Mission! But when they get to Kimma's Garden, suddenly Riley starts picking all of Kimma's apples and cherries and starts eating them all! "Riley, what are you doing?" Skeeter asks. "Hey, we've helped a lot! I'm just taking something in return!" Riley says. Greedy Cloud has him thinking that he deserves something that isn't his! Can Skeeter use a Plant Baby to stop Riley before Kimma sees what he's done? Write the rest of the story.

"Plant Baby... Plant Baby..." Skeeter thinks, pacing across the garden.
"Nom Nom Nom!" Riley says.
"Riley! Stop!" Skeeter snaps. "Patience Plant Baby wouldn't work... or Perseverance. But maybe, maybe Honest Plant Baby would." He conjures up a plan.
"And so you should tell this Plant Baby what you've done." Skeeter says to Riley about thirty minutes later.
"But, I'm afraid." Riley replied.
"Why?" asks Skeeter.
"I've done something wrong. I guess a Greedy Cloud got the best of me."
"What'd you do?" asked Honest PB.
"I thought that I should have some of Kimma's fruit because I'd done a lot of work, but she should have them because they're rightfully hers and she did a lot of work to make them grow and harvest." "Good Job, Riley! You've realized what you've done was wrong, and you should tell Kimma. She'll understand. Exactly how much did you eat?" Honest PB asked.
Skeeter and Riley turned and pointed at six bare bushes.
"Wow. Well, maybe she won't understand..." Said Honest PB.
"It's okay. Everybody makes mistakes." assured Skeeter.
"Except me! Because I'm Honest!!!" said Honest PB and he hopped into the distance yelling, "Except for me! Except for me!!" Write Me A Story

It was Izzy's birthday. She was going to be eleven. She was having a special pool party at the leisure center. She was having lots of fun with her friends, but she wanted to prank them. She glanced over at her bag and spotted one of her birthday presents, a packet of gummy worms. She had the perfect idea for her prank. She grabbed a handful of gummy worms and threw them in the pool.

"Snakes!" screamed the lifeguard. "No, not snakes! I hate snakes." The lifeguard was running around terrified. He ran all the way out of the pool area, out of the leisure center, out of the town.

"Oops," said Izzy.
